About Sugarplum

7-Year-Old American Saddlebred Mare World's Championship Competitor!

The talent of a champion. The heart of a puppy. The WHOLE package!

If you've been searching for a horse with the talent to compete at the highest levels, the versatility to do just about anything, and the disposition to make every ride enjoyable, meet Sugarplum Fairy!

Affectionately known as "Feya," this spectacular 7-year-old mare has been competing at the country's most prestigious horse shows since she was just three years old. She has qualified for and competed at the World's Championship Horse Show for the past TWO years, earning an impressive THIRD-PLACE finish!

And perhaps even more impressive? She has successfully competed with riders as young as EIGHT years old!

Feya has all the fire, presence, and attitude you want in a top-level show horse, paired with the kindness and willingness of a little puppy. She'll charge into the show ring ready to give you everything she's got, yet happily and effortlessly come right back to a walk with the softest request.

She's the perfect example of POWER without sacrificing SENSIBILITY!

And her talents extend well beyond the show ring!

Feya is absolutely wonderful in harness with beautiful, correct conformation that makes her just as impressive driving as she is under saddle. We've also even enjoyed taking her on relaxing trail rides!

A few of her many exceptional qualities:

Substantial size to accommodate adult riders yet safe enough for smaller junior exhibitors

, healthy and sound throughout her time with us

, hauls easily and stands beautifully for the farrier,
and when you're finished collecting ribbons her next career could be just as exciting!

Feya is sired by a stallion who has held the distinction of being the nation's #1 ranked sire for well over a decade! Her dam's side is just as impressive with multiple World's Champions and Broodmare Hall of Famers! With her exceptional pedigree, quality, size, and proven performance record, she offers tremendous potential as a future broodmare.

Show her. Drive her. Enjoy her. And someday, breed her!

Horses that combine this level of talent, experience, versatility, and genuine kindness are truly special. Feya is large enough for nearly any rider, yet has the sensibility and heart to take care of even your smallest competitor.

She doesn't just have the talent to take you to the top—she has the personality to make the journey FUN!

Videos available upon request to seriously interested, qualified buyers.

Contact us for additional information or to schedule a private appointment to meet and try this exceptional mare.
